Check Out a New Pop-Up Art Space, Gallery Clarendon
Posted On: July 24
The Arlington Artists Alliance (AAA) exists to foster creativity and innovation, two things that were integral in the conception of Gallery Clarendon. The AAA saw a vacant space at Regency Centers, which has sat empty for more than a year, and decided to take a chance and see if the shopping center would temporarily donate it to a pop-up art gallery. On June 20th, this dream became a reality when Gallery Clarendon made its debut.
The pop-up expects to stay in the empty unit for at least a year, showcasing the works of artists from around Arlington. It's free to come and explore the gallery, but be prepared to spend some cash—you'll probably fall in love with one of the locally crafted pieces and want to take it home. Gallery Clarendon also plans to host art classes in the near future, so keep an eye out for announcements regarding the schedule.
